Metric Communications, LLC is an independent consulting practice run by Brent Merritt, focused on digital strategy for advocacy, public affairs, and nonprofits.
Brent helps organizations identify key objectives, tie them to measurable performance targets, and reach them using data-driven digital communications. In addition to his current area of focus, Brent’s professional experience includes corporate communications, direct marketing, higher ed marketing and media projects.
His analysis of digital media and politics has appeared in Axios Media Trends and has been published by The George Washington University, The Richmond Times-Dispatch, The Virginia Mercury, Nonprofit Tech for Good, MediaShift, and Parse.ly Analytics.
He holds a M.A. in Media and Strategic Communication from The George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs, where he was a University Fellow, and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
